About the role:
Are you excited by the opportunity to produce high-quality, detailed work in a stable, work environment with an established team? If so, ArrKann is the place for you! Our award-winning RV dealership is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be a team player who takes the initiative and knows how to get the job done right the first time around. This position is perfect for someone who is process-driven, and comfortable working independently but enjoys a team-orientated approach.
Responsibilities:
- Receipting and recording all incoming funds
- Reconciling bank statements for all accounts
- Making payments on units
- Assisting with monthly unit reconciliations
- Recording and assigning incoming units to appropriate accounts
- Provide administrative support including filing, organization, and data entry
- Respond to emails on a daily basis regarding invoicing and payments
- Work closely with shipping and receiving and the parts managers to adjust incorrect receiving invoices
- Work with and train employees along the way to secure supporting documents for invoicing
- Partner with the controller to verify cheques that have not cleared with vendors
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Education, training, or education in business, administration, or accounting an asset
- Experience providing administrative support
- Basic understanding of financial accounting
- High level of attention to detail
