Job description
We are currently seeking a full-time accounting technician to join our team that has experience preparing year ends, personal tax returns and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare Financial statements – Notice to Reader & Review Engagements
- Preparation of personal & corporate income tax returns
- Preparation of payroll, GST reports and year end tax forms
- Full cycle bookkeeping for small business and not for profits
- Work with accounting software and provide support to clients
- Respond to client questions
- Able to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education:
- Accounting diploma (equivalent experience will be considered)
- Accounting designation not required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience
- Experience in full cycle bookkeeping for small business and non-profits
- Solid computer skills with MS Office – Word & Excel and Adobe
- Proficient in the following software: Caseware, Profile or TaxCycle, Quickbooks, Xero
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are required.

Salary to commensurate with education and experience. This is a full-time position.
