Job Summary
Watson Enterprises Inc. is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, which is mainly engaged in the wholesales of Asian food. After nearly 20 years of development, it has become one of the major suppliers of Asian foods in Canada. We are currently looking for an organized, data-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our financial team.
This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment and receipt of invoices.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations as needed.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, as well as monitoring and analyzing budget variances.
- Maintain an organized and efficient system of financial records and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations, as well as changes in tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Running the inventory, sales report to support the sales teams.
- Analysis the orders and do the PO and invoice in the accounting software.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years accounting/bookkeeper experience.
- MUST have experience in SAGE 50 (Simply Accounting) software, or / and the QuickBooks online.
- Good general organization; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to use web-based payment methods and forms for submission of payments.
- Good communication skills & proficiency in verbal/written English
- Ability to communicate in Chinese is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
