Job Description About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Analyst on the Canada Branch operations team. This position reports to the Commercial Banking Operations Manager supporting day to day Branch operation activities. This role is based out of Toronto Canada office.In this role, you will:Perform moderately complex operational account activities related to daily Treasury Management Nostro reconciliation using Intellimatch, maintaining ledger accounts, and creating reports. Continuous monitoring of the TM Nostro accounts for any variances.Prepare and distribute Nostro account reconciliations to various Servicing group for processing and resolutionIdentify and assist in resolving complex or unique issues. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to achieve resultsProvide daily support on all Treasury Management related process, working in conjunction with the Implementation Consultant in reviewing new customers account opening documents. Assist Customer Service Officers with queries, engaging the Investigation team for processing and resolution.Support the review and validation of Fintrac reports and all related process covered by the activity.Review the system of record EOD dashboard to monitor any open items, review the Global sanction screen as part of the BCP support.Provide back-up support for the overall process covering Branch funding including Lending Nostros reconciliation, and all related activities associated with the desk.Apply comprehensive product knowledge to ensure effectiveness of service to enhance the support provided by Branch Operations.Maintain adherence to process and controls to minimize loss and ensure risks are mitigated.Participate in projects related to area of expertise and any adhoc requirements presented by the Commercial Banking Operations ManagerRequired Qualifications:2+ years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Strong and solid knowledge of Operational support process with a strong emphasis on Bank Reconciliation experience, Treasury Management products, SWIFT payment module.High level of knowledge using excel, proficient and adept in customer service, including good written/oral communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.
