Accounting Technician
Ledgers Halifax is a full service accounting service provider located in beautiful Bedford, Nova Scotia. We provide bookkeeping, payroll, HST filings, year end filings, and CRA defense. If you have a minimum diploma in accounting, certification in bookkeeping, or at least two years experience manageing the business end of a business we want you on our team.
Essential Functions:
·Posting daily transactions, review bank deposits and managing internal CRM
·Prepare and review HST returns on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis
·Communicate with clients for information / document exchange
·Reconcile bank and credit card statements
·Prepare and review payroll for accurate source deductions
·Prepare and review accounts for year end filing
·Other accounting related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
College Diploma in accounting considered an asset. Bookkeeping certification and / or two years worth of experience will be considered.
We are mainly a Quickbooks Online firm so experience on this software is considered an asset as well as having a high proficieny in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and DEXT.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
