Job Description
Administrative Assistant to work remotely supported by our Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines, along with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to execute rapidly required job demands with accuracy and self-directed organizational skills.
General Office Duties:
- Assist and complete accounts receivable, collections, and payable processes (QuickBooks)
- Process Extended Health Benefit denials
- Prepare and process the payroll of consultants (HCAI/Schedule X); review and ensure accuracy of approved hours and set therapy approval budgets
- Record invoices/expenses QuickBooks
- Order approved assistive devices for clients, issue invoices on ScheduleX/HCAI for items, and record in QuickBooks
- General administrative support as required
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and/or general business administration
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar support role in a consulting or professional services environment
- Excellent MS Office skills, advanced spreadsheet experience
- Excellent time management skills, prioritizing several simultaneous assignments
- Working knowledge of office accounting software systems
- Willingness to learn
- Experience with Schedule X, HCAI, and QuickBooks
