Receptionist / Administrative Assistant at Baker Tilly Victoria, Sidney Office. Permanent, Full-Time.
Baker Tilly Victoria is seeking a motivated and well-organized individual with a strong attention to detail to join the administration team at the Sidney office. You will support the administration team with a wide variety of administrative duties including but not limited to, answering client telephone/email and in person inquiries, distributing the office mail, arranging daily couriers, diary management, assembly of various tax return packages, and electronic filing of corporate tax returns. The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant will have:
- The ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Great organizational and time managements skills to meet deadlines.
- Experience or the desire to work in a team-based environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a reception position.
- Experience taking payments and handling invoices to clients.
This role will suit someone who has at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and who has worked directly with professionals and clients. Candidates must have strong time management skills and be a team player. March and April are the busiest times of the year for the firm so you must have the flexibility to work outside the normal workday during that time. To succeed in this role, you will need the ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally. You will need to maintain a high level of confidentiality and must be comfortable handling sensitive client information. Having a strong attention to detail will add to your success in this role. This position is Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm (with some changes during tax season and the summer)
Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
