Masonry Group Inc is seeking a bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task. This position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations. This position will also assist in the organization of the accounting department, and manage all administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
·Maintain financial records and prepare reports for management.
·Prepare invoices for billing and collection.
·Prepare expense reports for billing and reimbursement.
·Prepare payroll for payroll processing.
·Manage all accounting related documents, including but not limited to: invoices, checks, statements, etc.
·Manage accounts payable and receivable; record payments and handle customer accounts.
·Handle all accounts receivable functions, including filing, paying out invoices, collecting payments, auditing customer accounts, and preparing monthly statements.
·Assist with month end close process by performing various tasks such as preparing reports, preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and preparing financial statements for month end close process.
·Assist with other accounting related projects as needed.
·Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience:
·High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred in Accounting or related field.
·1+ years of experience in an accounting environment preferred; experience with QuickBooks is a plus!
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
