Reports to the Central Zone Program Manager of the Nova Scotia Health Renal Program. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative and secretarial support to the Program Manager and Director of Operations, Nova Scotia Health Renal Program, program staff and related committees. The incumbent ensures the smooth and efficient daily operation of the office, and assists program staff as required. Demonstrates mature, sound judgment in dealing with matters of a highly confidential nature
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Grade XII plus a graduate of a recognized office administration program/business program/secretarial program required- Minimum of three years secretarial experience required
- Previous experience in healthcare preferred
- Proficient key boarding skills with extensive experience in Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Time Capture and SuccessFactors/Human Resource management systems is an asset
- Financial statement reconciliation experience preferred
- Experience in website maintenance an asset
- Conference/large meeting planning experience an asset
- Self- directed, demonstrates initiative, accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Sound problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; including formatting and proof reading of large documents
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people and personalities in a professional manner
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

$21.58 - $26.98 Hourly
