We’re on the hunt for a uniquely-talented Digital Advertising Creator to join the Creative Team at Knix. As a Digital Advertising Creator, you will be responsible for developing eye-catching and engaging content that drives clicks (and finger taps) to our website. You’ll be monitoring content trends on platforms like Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok, and using those insights to develop compelling ideas for new direct response brand creative. You will collaborate closely with our in-house videographers, editors, and Content Team, and be capable of independently shooting footage yourself, or partnering with outside production companies when necessary. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our Digital Marketing teams, who will provide valuable insights and data from performance in channel to inform your creative decisions and future creative iterations.

- Monitor content trends and consumer behavior across social media platforms, staying up-to-date with the latest platform features, best practices, and advertising trends.
- Develop innovative and attention-grabbing ideas for brand and product creative that align with our target audience and marketing objectives.
- Develop storyboards and scripts
- Collaborate with in-house videographers and editors to bring your creative ideas to life, ensuring high-quality and visually appealing content.
- Shoot and capture footage independently, maintaining a high level of creativity and technical proficiency.
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to gather insights and data on ad performance, user behaviour, and audience engagement, using this information to refine and optimize future creative strategies.
- Conduct frequent competitive analysis, identifying and sharing internally industry trends, best practices, and potential opportunities for differentiation.
- Stay current with emerging digital advertising and content creation techniques, tools, and technologies, and propose their integration into our creative processes when appropriate.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, paid digital marketing, design, and product, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and consistent creative execution across various platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in digital advertising creation, preferably within the direct-to-consumer (DTC) industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, including their respective advertising formats, best practices, and targeting options.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative concepts that drive clicks, conversions, and revenue.
- Proficiency in videography and video editing, knowledge of editing software a plus (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.), with a keen eye for visual storytelling and composition.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach, leveraging insights and performance metrics to inform creative decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Portfolio or reel showcasing previous digital advertising creative work and demonstrating a range of styles and formats.
