Join a team of passionate peopleUnder the supervision of the Director, Marketing, Offices - Quebec, your main responsibilities will be to deploy marketing strategies and initiatives for the Nouveau Centre by Ivanhoé Cambridge and for Place Ville Marie (PVM). You will be responsible for the development and implementation of public event programming for Nouveau Centre and PVM in collaboration with our business partners. You will develop and maintain partnerships with downtown stakeholders.Marketing Planning- Establish the marketing planning and programming for public events for Nouveau Centre and PVM;
- Actively participate in weekly meetings with the Marketing team, Offices - Quebec to inform colleagues about deliverables under your supervision;
- Keep the activity, campaign and communication calendar up to date for Nouveau Centre and public event programming for PVM;
- Determine objectives and align project continuity with all stakeholders;
- Define metrics based on business needs, extract data, analyze reports, prepare result tables and make recommendations;
- Develop the media plan for Nouveau Centre's campaigns or projects with partners and negotiate agreements;
- Establish KPI objectives and track results;
- Develop various presentations and participate in the preparation of internal reports.
Events, partnerships, and sponsorships- Participate in the development of an attractive and sustainable cultural and event programming in line with the established positioning with business partners;
- Manage event projects for Nouveau Centre supervised by the Offices – Quebec team and collaborate on projects supervised by other teams;
- Develop and deliver event projects and marketing initiatives as part of the programming in coordination with multiple internal stakeholders (Security, building, customer relations, marketing, project manager, legal, public affairs) and external stakeholders;
- Write briefs that will enable the development of communication plans (B2B and B2C) aligned with project objectives;
- Ensure the deployment and communication of programming, ensuring implementation of negotiated visibility agreements and collaborating with internal colleagues;
- Foster collaboration opportunities and maintain ongoing relationships with the Eaton Centre Montreal, Place Montreal Trust, and Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth;
- Manage and develop agreements and contracts with business partners;
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key downtown stakeholders, including Tourisme Montreal, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, Montreal downtown, and the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, etc.;
- Manage the Nouveau Centre committees, including the marketing committee with peers at JLL and Fairmont, as well as steering committees including asset and property managers, Vice Presidents, and marketing teams involved;
- Participate in the development of a sponsorship plan and approach partners in collaboration with them;
- Participate in events on the properties and network on certain occasions.
Administration- Plan and update the detailed marketing budget for Nouveau Centre;
- Manage the budget for your projects and ensure follow-up;
- Create purchase orders, process and verify invoices;
- Ensure rigorous financial, technical, and administrative follow-up of files and report internally.
An attitude beyond the skills of success- University degree in marketing or related field;
- At least eight (8) years of relevant experience in marketing and events;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English; Oral and/or written interactions with external partners based outside Quebec (service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, etc.);
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Good understanding of marketing, events, and their challenges;
- Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with important partners;
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships and negotiate agreements;
- Proactivity, dynamism, and creativity in generating innovative ideas and problem-solving;
- Excellent organizational, planning, and tight schedule management skills;
- Ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment;
- Strong team spirit in a collaborative environment;
- Autonomy and strong sense of priorities.
