Job Description
Our bakery takes pride in making handmade doughnuts to our community. There are no preservatives and additives in our doughnuts and all unsold products are donated to charity at the end of each day! If you are looking to join our team we'd be happy to review your application!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a small team to bake early each morning, following carefully crafted recipes
- Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, moulding, shaping dough, and frying doughnuts and comfortable using fryer
- Work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and contribute to a great customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Early-risers! Shifts start as early as 3 am.
- Must be punctual
- A positive attitude and good organizational skills
- People who take pride in a job well done and will look for things to do
- Demonstrated commitment to the bakery's success, and to your own development
- Previous work experience in a kitchen or bakery is considered an asset
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg
- Frequent turning and reaching
- Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending
- Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping

Previous experience is required, but open to individuals with transferrable skills such as: Bread maker, Cook, Chef, Bakery Worker
