Job Description
Our client, a leading provider of systems and services to the healthcare community for over 25 years, is currently seeking professional, detail-oriented full-time Corporate Bookkeeper to join their team. The Corporate Bookkeeper will perform daily accounting tasks such as AR/AP, banking and treasury functions, monthly financial reporting, and payroll at their Mississauga office. The successful incumbent will have confidence and expertise to be able to make decisions and possess a strong financial acumen.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Performs full cycle bookkeeper duties including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
· Review budgeting, reporting, bank reconciliations and special projects with management
· Full understanding of inventory accounting and oversee inventory
· Performs online banking
· Completes and submits HST returns, EHT and WSIB remittances and bi-monthly payroll deduction remittances
· Balances general ledger by preparing Trial Balance to collect, analyze and prepare Financial reports
· Complies with tax filing requirements and all other deadlines and enforces adherence to requirements
· Prepares bi-weekly payroll including generating ROEs, Year-end T slips and T2200, calculates taxable benefits
· Tracks vacation and sick time
· Prepares year-end working papers for external auditor
· Proactively consults with team, provides feedback and resolves issues
· Assists in the office as required for the smooth operation of the business
· Maintains a high level of confidentiality in regard to company matters
Qualifications:
· 5+ years’ experience in full cycle accounting
· Completion of a College Diploma in Accounting preferred
· Proficient in MS Office suite and SharePoint. SAP Business preferred
· Self-disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skills, and ability to multi-task
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Data entry skills
· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to wo work independently or as a team member in challenging, deadline-oriented environments
· Demonstrate initiative and creativity to continually improve processes
· Excellent customer service and business acumen to understand our industry, sector and customers

Salary: $55,000.00-$63,000.00 per year

Education:
Experience:
- Full-cycle Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
- HST/GST related Canadian tax: 1 year (preferred)
