What's this role about?
The Brand Manager at Auvik will play a vital role in driving our B2B brand narrative, stewardship, and strategy. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Communications, the Brand Manager will ensure brand consistency, adherence, and excellence across all marketing and company materials. As an essential member of our Brand & Communications team, you will manage our creative agency to produce superior marketing assets, and work collaboratively with multiple departments, helping us strengthen our position as a leader in network and SaaS management solutions for IT professionals. Your input will be instrumental in crafting campaigns that drive top of funnel brand awareness, engagement, and purchase consideration.
What will I be doing?
- Overseeing brand adherence in all marketing and company materials.
- Managing our creative agency to create compelling marketing assets including presentations, ads, landing pages, videos, animations, and more.
- Owning and managing the brand and creative budget to ensure assets are delivered on time and within budget.
- Act as a brand advocate and collaborate with all areas of the marketing team – demand generation, product marketing, content marketing – as well as other areas of the company such as sales, HR, and customer success.
- Ideating, planning, and managing the execution of brand campaigns that boost brand awareness, engagement, and purchase consideration – working closely with our paid media team where needed.
- Conducting brand audits to ensure all materials meet our brand standards.
- Researching and analyzing market trends and competitors to drive strategic brand decisions.
- Developing processes and creative briefs that ensure proper translation of ask to output with the creative agency
- Use market research to collect relevant brand data and translate it into actionable brand initiatives.
- Own customer reviews strategy and execution to help generate positive reviews of Auvik and then leverage them in brand campaigns and promote their use across appropriate marketing channels
What are we looking for?
- Experience developing and implementing brand marketing strategies ideally at high growth B2B SaaS companies and/or agencies
- Experience managing external creative agencies or managing clients at a creative or marketing agency.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in Marketing, Business, or related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- Intermediate creative or production experience is an asset – design, video, motion graphics, etc.
- Research loving and trend obsessed – you are up up-to-date with the latest brand marketing trends and love sharing with the greater team
- Possesses an equal blend of creative and strategic thinking – not afraid to take calculated risks based on both data and feeling (because we all know that brand is emotional!)
- Exceptionally detail oriented and able to spot where brand adherence is not being followed from a mile away
- Proven experience in managing and delivering on multiple projects, tasks, and freelancers/agencies simultaneously.
- A great communicator and collaborator who excels at building relationships, and driving results across teams and at all levels of an organization
- A thorough planner with incredible project management skills, able to successfully manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
- Versatile, flexible, and willing to work with changing priorities.
- A positive person who finds creative ways to solve problems
