Mint Health + Drugs

Job Description

Who are we?

At Mint Health+Drugs, we’re more than just a run-of-the-mill drugstore. We offer a deeper level of care, brought to you by independent pharmacy owners that are a part of the local community.
We believe that pharmacists, not corporations, shape the future of patient care. We're taking back our profession, one pharmacy at a time, with a team of pharmacists who are respected leaders and clinicians in each of their respective communities.
Why work for us?
Simply put, our mission is to Help People Feel Better. The core values of Mint Health+Drugs are rooted in the drive to make our communities healthier places. The very letters that make up Mint represent these guiding principles:
Motivate - To strive to be the best versions of ourselves, not because we have to, but because we desire to.
Innovate - There's always a right way to do something. Learn it first, then make it better.
Nurture - Take care of those around you, whether they are your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers or even a stranger.
Teach - Improving ourselves and those around us through lifelong teaching, sharing, and learning.
At Mint we pride ourselves not in the recognition we receive, but in the good quality of work we do for patient care. Helping people get ahead with their health is what we strive for. We are fortunate to have been recognized along the way:

The Hiring Location:
Mint Health + Drugs: CMP (Community Members Pharmacy) was opened in 2012 with the mission of serving our community members within Edmonton’s vulnerable population sector.
Over the years, our pharmacy has grown extensively, and today, we have the privilege of working alongside the most prominent non-profit organizations in supporting this population that truly needs it the most.
Though we’ve since relocated our pharmacy into the Britannia-Youngstown neighbourhood from our original location in an effort to extend our support to a new community, our core principles remain unchanged. That is, we value the importance of listening, and understand that every person is unique having come from all walks of life carrying their own personal story. That’s why we strive hard to take the time to listen to every individual we have the opportunity to come across so that we cater our support around wherever they are in life and wherever they need us the most.
Whether it’s helping them find the best treatment option for their concerns, managing their medications, connecting them with a resource for sustainable housing, or just simply being a listening ear to hear out their frustrations, we’re always here to help.
