This position will report directly to the Country HR Manager.
- In support of the HR function, develops, facilitates and implements communication projects and messaging, including, editorial support, web content, and direct marketing to educate and inform key stakeholders including management, employees and interest groups.
- In support of ABB’s corporate social responsibility activities, develop and implement program and communications to educate and inform internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for updating corporate policies as well as ensuring employees are familiar with the organizations HR policies and expectations.
- Takes the lead in the research, development, drafting, publication, and distribution of the employee handbook; conducts informational meetings, training sessions, and other communication forums to explain and discuss human resource policies.
- Supports development and translation of key materials including, policies, organizational announcements, employer recognition awards, employee recognition
- Maintains knowledge of best practices including, employer branding, employee retention, recognition, productivity.
- Responsible for the administrative application support and processes for the Employer Recognition Awards.
- Manages contribution to key events such as HR-related initiatives.
- This person will support the Head of Talent and D&I Leader in Canada with the local initiatives. These responsibilities will include but are not limited to: supporting D&I projects, events planning and roll out, content on the Intranet, newsletters, branding, research, etc.
- Manages the philanthropic initiatives in Country in collaboration with other departments and functions.
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within a HR Communications environment.
- Project Management experience, with excellent time management skills.
- Fluency in French, written and spoken. Fluency in English will also be required in this role as this position will communicate with all provinces across the country.
- Content creation, copywriting abilities are a huge asset in this role.
