Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario(CFFO) is a professional organization for family farm entrepreneurs. The CFFO was established to help our members live out their faith in their farming practices and to help the government develop policies and programs that protect the long-term success of agriculture. As a provincially Accredited Farm Organization (AFO), we advocate on behalf of our members, advising the provincial government on policy solutions for a broad range of agricultural, rural, and social issues that impact the quality of life and the businesses of our farm families.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Coordinator. This position is for someone that can define themselves as a “Go-Getter”. An extrovert who is comfortable with speaking and presenting in front of others. Their job is to ensure that the Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario, an Accredited Farm Organization continues to be robust and active in the province, community, in-person, and online, and promotes the values and ideas of the Federation. The CFFO is seeking a motivated Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Communications Coordinator develops, designs, and executes communications to promote the CFFO. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in communicating and driving brand awareness and user engagement.

Marketing 70%
· Create engaging and relevant content for various channels, including the CFFO website, social media platforms, newsletters, commentary, and other marketing materials.
· Scheduling, monitoring, and engaging audiences on social media software
· Working together with cross-functional teams to develop and design concepts to attract CFFO members across Ontario.
· Optimizing content for search engines to improve visibility and organic reach via all platforms
· Develop marketing plans within budget requirements
· Assisting with the CFFO partnership program when needed
· Filming and editing video campaigns such as member interviews at various events
· Monitor, evaluate, and report on all CFFO marketing and communications activities; make recommendations based on findings.
· Traveling to events and CFFO member farms to interview, write and take pictures for a possible story on our media channels.
· Maintaining the CFFO merchandise store a few times a year
Communications 30%
· Support the team by copyediting and proofreading CFFO content for various purposes.
· Write or seek out commentaries, and magazine articles, from the agricultural industry as required.
· Provide media relations support to GM, President, or other CFFO representatives, as needed
· Brand management by maintaining consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all communication channels

· Agriculture experience or familiarity with farm functions
