Here is a sneak peek at what you'll be up to day-to-day as a Community Manager:
- Build community programs for founder and investor alumni and nurture online engagement through various platforms.
- Familiarize with all programs, identify opportunities and plan out key activities for community engagement.
- Plan and implement offline and online community engagement strategies with the Program Director. Together we will make magic happen!
- Identify and collaborate with key influencers to amplify Movement51’s message and reach.
- Monitor community discussions, trends, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Join forces with the team to create impactful community events, facilitating connections and strengthening relationships.
- Create compelling content such as articles, blog posts, eNewsletters, and videos to promote engagement and resonate with community interests.
- Engage our internal teams with Movement51's communities.
- Respond to community inquiries with empathy and accuracy.
- Implement community guidelines and policies to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members.
- Dive into the financial side of things to identify opportunities in the budget for engagement ideas.
- Analyze post-event evaluations to uncover areas of improvement and engagement opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to community management and online engagement.
- Cultivate amazing relationships with our incredible Movement51 Partners.
- Develop relationships with investor and entrepreneurial support organizations.
- Put on your ambassador hat and represent Movement51 and The51 in the local and national community and ecosystem.
When submitting your resume, here’s what we will be looking for:
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a relatedfield will definitely catch our attention. Don’t worry if you don’t have one, though – equivalent work experience can be just as valuable
- Proven experience in community management, social media management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, community management tools, and analytics. Experience building a Slack community is a plus!
- Experience in content creation and curation is a plus. Show us your creative side!

- Passion: for innovation, community, investing and entrepreneurship.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the organization's industry, target audience, and brand values is a plus.
