Kiosk & Office staff provide info about our services to potential customers, taking reservations, and providing rental customers with equipment and safety instructions. Interacting and assisting customers while communicating with co-workers to ensure the Marina operates safe and smooth in all weather conditions. Confidence and public communication skills (or at least the attitude to attain them) are a must. The marina kiosk requires many different skill sets. We do not ask that you excel at all of them, but that you provide and share your strengths to the best of your ability and actively engage with co-workers and customers to acquire new ones.

- Organization and Cleanliness.
- Hand tool use and mechanical knowledge.
- Boating experience. Knowledge of Okanagan lake a benefit.
- Computer skills, Microsoft Office, Point-of-Sale, experience with both Windows and IOS.
+ Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Provide information about services and rates, collect payments.
- Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and e-mail. Record reservations. Complete pre-departure rental paperwork.
- Distribute life jackets and rental equipment. Instruct customers on proper and safe operation of watercraft; Clean and prepare boats before and after rentals; Inspect watercraft for damage, maintain and repair when necessary.
- Monitor environment for safety hazards; Instruct customers on weather conditions and best safety practices.
- Fuel rental and customer boats. Ensure Marina’s tidiness and organization.
- Work as a team with fellow staff to ensure the smooth operation of the Marina. Learn from those more experienced and communicate your own knowledge and ideas.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: From $17.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
