Job Description
Reporting to the Sales Manager, The Inside Sales Representative is the prime interface between the Company and the Customer. Basic requirements are to serve customers by identifying their needs, engineering adaptations of the product, and maintaining a good relationship with the Customer while projecting a positive and professional image of Rulmeca Canada Limited.
Technical Sales Representatives provide both pre and after sales recommendations to various types of customers, often with a consultative approach. They liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments such as design, purchasing, production and quality, as well as senior company managers.
Responsibilities are identified as, but not limited to the following:
- Ensure the product is built to Customer and Rulmeca specifications
- Maintaining current and up-to-date Customer files, ensuring the integrity of the information in Rulmeca’s standard CRM & ERP Systems.
- Perform accurate customer quotations and price checks with acceptable margins.
- Perform accurate job entries and job set-ups in computer system.
- Endeavor to expedite deliveries, through creative solutions and due-diligent shipping.
- Ensuring that the Customer is aware and accepting of current company production capacities prior to accepting order.
- In conjunction with Sales Management, clarify any conflicting or ambiguous information in the sales agreement, contract, or sales process.
- Ensuring that any changes to contracts are communicated to personnel within the organization in a timely manner.
- Effectively resolving conflicts with Customers while mitigating the losses to the organization.
- Coordinating changes to product design between the Engineering Department and the Customer.
- Carrying out other tasks or assignments as deemed necessary by the Manager
- Help in the design of custom-made products
- Report any issues or concerns that may affect the overall performance of any individual or department to supervisor.

- Positive attitude, respectful and courteous towards Customers and co-workers.
- Assist Sales Leadership with Marketing duties such as but not limited to; Social media marketing, organizing, packing, and attending tradeshows, etc.
- Other duties as required
Qualification’s:
· Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalent
· Post-Secondary Education an asset but not a necessity
· Self-motivated, well organized with the ability to complete tasks on time and accurately
· Show a strong ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
· Comfortable in a dynamic and challenging atmosphere of Technical Sales with a rapidly expanding customer base.
· Sales experience and customer service experience a must
· Aptitude for understanding machines and tools
· High degree of computer competence including proficient in MS Office, and experience working with and optimizing a CRM tool.
· Motivated to nurture, assist, and cultivate a customer base with a desire to help with any issues or problems they may face
· Embrace challenges / Strong work ethic / Strong Organizational Skills
