About the Role
We are seeking to hire a Director of Communications who will be the chief advocate for our product’s features and their benefits, with the responsibility of crafting the strategy around ITC’s messaging and marketing of them. This role will be responsible for telling the world, and our internal team, the story of our products and how they will provide an excellent end user experience. As the chief advocate for our product’s features and their benefits, crafting the strategy around the messaging and marketing of them will be paramount. This role will report to the VP of Sales.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in strategic conversations and synthesize information for effective outbound engagement
- Work with leadership on crafting future marketing and promotion strategies
- Provide a marketing communication plan for the industry, customers, and prospects
- Disseminate marketing information to ITC sales personnel
- Maintain a pulse on the public profile of ITC competitors and the industry, and provide insight to the ITC team
- Manage and create promotional content and literature
- Establish processes within the Communications/Marketing portfolio in collaboration with leadership
- Write, curate, and analyze email campaigns
- Write, edit, and publish newsletters, white papers, press releases, and other related activities
- Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall company goals
- Contribute to the messaging, and overall presentation of RFP proposals, and other sales related activities
- Oversee visual strategy of our materials, including coordination/execution of photo-shoots and videos
In this role, it would be an asset to be capable of:
- Updating and maintaining website and monitoring website traffic
- Designing custom product labels and card artwork
- Identifying opportunities for industry event participation, and coordinating tradeshow presence, including booth registrations, organization of collateral and promotional material, and booth layout/design
- Planning and coordinating meetings and special events
We are looking for a blend of qualifications, including:
- Degree in Arts, Business, Communications, or similar programs
- Professional experience promoting technical solutions to a general audience
- Experience with grant and/or proposal writing
- Strong knowledge of standard office applications
- Working knowledge of graphic programs
- Proven experience designing brochures, pamphlets, posters, forms, advertisements, videos, etc.
- Experience using industry standard CRM and marketing solutions
