Brock Excavation & Septics is a small business in Cannington, ON L0E 1E0. We service northern Durham Region, Clarington, Kawartha Lakes, Ramara, York Region and Simcoe County. We specialize in residential septic system design, installation, repair, and maintenance; as well as design and construction of retaining walls, driveway repair, lot clearing, demolition and hardscaping. Duties:
- Float equipment and materials from shop to jobsite
- Operate a roll-off truck to transport materials to and from job sites
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Ensure safe and efficient delivery of materials and equipment to designated locations
- Follow established routes and schedules for timely delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of the truck as needed
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record
- Experience operating roll-off trucks, forklifts, or other heavy equipment
- Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including heavy lifting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Note: Experience with dump trucks or route driving is a plus but not required.
