Position: E-commerce Digital Marketer
Status: Full-time
The Opportunity
An E-commerce Digital Marketer is responsible for overseeing the online sales of a company's products or services. They utilize a wide range of strategies to market the company's product and/or services online, increase web traffic, ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers, and optimize sales conversion.
Job Description:
- E-commerce Strategy: Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy, including marketing campaigns, email marketing, online promotions, etc.
- Website Management: Responsible for managing the look and feel of the company website. This includes product listing, product descriptions, image management, and providing a user-friendly design and shopping experience.
- SEO/SEM: Improve the visibility of the website using Search Engine Optimization. Manage paid campaigns via Search Engine Marketing to drive targeted traffic to the website.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Implement strategies to convert website visitors into customers. This may include A/B testing, website layout adjustments, improving checkout process, etc.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that the website offers a high-quality, seamless user experience. This includes easy navigation, fast checkout, and responsive customer service.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize tools such as Google Analytics 4 , Adobe Analytics to monitor and analyze site performance and customer behavior. Provide regular reports on key metrics like sales, traffic sources, conversion rates, and others.
- Email Marketing: Manage email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in email sends.
- Market Research: Stay updated with the latest trends in e-commerce and digital marketing. Analyze competitor activities and customer behavior to align marketing efforts accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or others.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools like Google AdWords, Google Analytics, SEO tools, etc.
- Strong understanding of website design, and customer journey mapping.
- Proficiency in web analytics and understanding key e-commerce metrics.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and e-commerce.
