Job Description
Responsibilities:
Working as part of an international team, and reporting to the Head of, Marketing – Retail Lending (based in Mequon) within the Lending BU, this role is a key interface to the US Retail Lending Sales and customer-facing organization.
In your role as a Field Marketing Lead, your primary objective will be to generate qualified leads in line with the Finastra business plan. The remit of your role will encompass strategic planning, identifying and analyzing customer demand, developing the annual marketing plan and building campaign programs.
Responsibilities & deliverables:
Develop and manage an annual marketing plan to meet the specific regional goals and market opportunity, in collaboration with colleagues in Lending Marketing and senior stakeholders within Sales and Product Management.
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to implement go to market (GTM) campaigns and plans based on the needs of targeted buyers across relevant banking and finance segments.
Execute region-specific marketing programs that will ultimately drive demand and build the sales pipeline.
The plan should include an appropriate mix of integrated campaign tactics, including events, roundtables, email, webinars, social media, etc, to support the bookings and marketing targets for the region.
Manage the budget and finance tracking process for all activities in the region.
Track results, report on KPIs, and manage the lead qualification and handover process to Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), including identifying areas for improvement based on results.
Work with the Public Relations (PR) and analyst Relations (AR) teams to position Finastra favorably to key press and analysts contacts in the region.
Take the lead in getting customer references and case studies developed for the region.
There are no direct or indirect reports.

The role will involve some direct exposure/communication to clients, particularly when coordinating events
Required experience:
Strong track record of B2B field marketing and demand generation (especially lead generation and nurturing, marketing campaign execution and measurement).
Experience of market research analytics, strategic planning, campaign development, budget management, events, email, social media, etc.
Hands-on experience and proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo), and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is required.
Experience within B2B software and/or financial services (banking / fintech) is preferred.
Technology-savvy, with a keen interest in emerging technologies and ‘all things digital’, including marketing automation, lead management strategies (lead scoring, lead nurturing, etc.), CRM systems and sales processes.
Qualifications & certification
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or communications required.
