Now hiring team members to join one of Durham Region’s fastest growing retail food stores.
We are looking for individuals with high energy, and are enthusiastic to assist the team leader in providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers.
The Frozen Food Associate will ensure that the retail areas are stocked with merchandise and ready for business. Associates work in colder areas, walk in coolers and freezers throughout their shift.
Responsibilities
- Unloading deliveries and storing appropriately
- Removing and disposing of packaging materials
- Deliveries to various departments within store
- Packaging and labeling of frozen foods
- Rotation and stocking of products
- Freezer/bunker/cooler/beer cooler organizing and inventory control
- Answering customer questions and providing assistance in person
- Providing assistance to other departments as needed
Qualifications
- Lift and or move up to 22kg (50lbs)
- Regularly required to walk or stand during work hours
- Reaching above shoulder height and below waist level
- Excellent customer service qualities
- Good communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Product knowledge is an asset
- Team player
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and Holidays.
Applicants must be a minimum age of 18 years to handle beverage alcohol.

Part-time hours: 12-32 per week
