Role: Intermediate GIS Web Mapping Developer
Client: Federal Government of Canada Client
Contract duration: one year, possibility of extension
Start date: August 2023
Location: Remote/NCR
Language: Bilingual (English & French)
Clearance: MUST hold a valid security clearance (please indicate on resume)
Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
· Implementation of a Web-based structure for automatic publication of the St. Lawrence and Great Lakes Waterways Channel Bottom Conditions in conformity to the new hydrographic data publication standards of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO – S-100 formats).
Skills/Experience Required:
· MUST HOLD A valid security clearance (please indicate on resume)
· University or College diploma in informatics, geomatics, electronics or related field;
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a GIS Web Mapping Developer.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
