The Opportunity
A new opportunity to join ILAC’s Marketing department as a Junior Graphic Designer has become available. The Junior Graphic Designer will provide design and development expertise and consultation on design projects from beginning to end. Marketing collateral includes but is not limited to email campaigns and mock-ups, unique landing pages, static and HTML5 web banners, interactive PDF’s, social media images, print projects and more.
Job Duties:
- Draft mockups of website designs, brochures, iconography, and any other marketing materials required
- Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mockups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts
- Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
- Communicate frequently with clients to update them on the progress of the project and to answer any questions they might have
- Work on illustration projects as requested within a reasonable timeframe and produce files that can be exported and used in common vector formats
- Other duties as requested
We’re looking for a full-time junior graphic designer with:
- Ideally, 2-4 years of Graphic Design experience, with a portfolio encompassing work across multiple platforms, including print, interactive, digital, animated, and illustration.
- Illustration expertise that can be translated to vector files.
- Research and develop design solutions that have the end client top of mind.
- Develop design concepts on how to best execute on the vision of key initiatives for the client.
- Design and development to wireframes, graphic user interface layouts, email campaign templates and unique campaign web landing pages.
- PPC Campaigns
- Excellent problem-solving & time-management skills.
- Continuously identify opportunities to create additional value, be proactive with ideas and creative solutions and share with the rest of the design team.
- Support the Marketing Department with campaigns when needed. This may include, flyers, brochures, stationary, merchandising, posters, calendars
- Exceptional command of the Adobe Creative Suite and Illustration software
- A strong portfolio of reference able work, with an emphasis on Digital Design
