Job Description
Reporting into the Vice President of Human Capital, the Administrator of Human Capital is responsible for the professional administration and management of assigned Human Resource activities and programs for Centurion Asset Management and Centurion Property Associates.
Responsibilities
Relationship Development
Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved through consistent attention to Centurion's Vision, Mission and Values.
Onboarding
Responsible for the full cycle new hire due diligence process including background, reference and credit checks as well as employment and education verifications. Oversee the onboarding of new Employees, preparing welcome emails, scheduling the appropriate trainings and conducting the onboarding sessions. Ensuring new hires are fully set up for their first day, entering the Employee into the HRIS system, creating staffing announcements, preparing onboarding packages, updating Employee contact lists and seating charts, and ordering work station set ups and business cards. Manage the Limeade Listening onboarding program, adding new users and flagging areas for improvement to the hiring manager and the Vice President of Human Capital.
Training and Development
Administer the bi-weekly Centurion Learning Academy programming, setting up new users as well as issuing certificates and gift cards. Work closely with the Vice President of Human Capital to create new learning modules within the platform. Work in collaboration with hiring mangers to coordinate the delivery and recording of ad hoc training sessions, to be uploaded onto Centurion’s LMS. Track all other training that is provided company wide in the HRIS, following up with Employees as required to obtain proof of completion. Update and maintain existing job description and task list inventory. Prepare job aids, creating a database for future Employees to reference. Review and update various manuals and forms as required.
Health and Safety
Assist with the deployment and tracking of all health and safety programming. Act as an Employee member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. Assist with the completion and management of workers’ compensation claims. Complete monthly and quarterly Workplace Compensation Board reporting/filing for applicable provinces. Ensure compliance with all Provincial Health and Safety Boards and strict adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Administration and Reporting
Assist with the collection and reconciliation of monthly expense reports. Administer the Employee mentor program, coordinating introductions for new mentees and tracking program progress. Manage Slack channels, adding and removing participants as required and posting monthly staffing updates. Administer Limeade Listening programming, responding to weekly Employee survey results and escalating any negative feedback to the Vice President of Human Capital for follow up. Pull monthly call logs and analyze usage to identify any discrepancies. Complete industry and human resource-specific research on best policies and practices, social and wellness programs and other topics as assigned. Prepare ad hoc reports as required. Assist the Vice President of Human Capital with additional tasks as requested.
Requirements
- University degree or College diploma in Human Resources or actively pursuing;
- Actively working towards Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) Certification;
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize errors and correct future behaviours, taking full accountability for one’s own work product;
- Strong follow-up skills with the ability to identify creative solutions and independently resolve issues;
- Ability to investigate and solve problems independently through the application of logic, analysis and experience;
- Strict commitment to discretion and confidentiality;
- A self-starter and highly motivated, possessing the ability to manage tasks with little oversight and deliver results with minimal guidance; and
- Fluently bilingual both written and spoken in English and French.
