Job Description
Function:
Using a strength-based, client-focused approach, the HR Coordinator/Finance Assistant is responsible for effective Human Resources management and data entry in the finance department. The primary role will be coordinating staff training and maintaining Human Resource files with the strictest of confidentiality in accordance to the CAC standards.
Qualifications:
- Certificate/Diploma Education &/or experience in human services, communications, public relations and computer software.
- Minimum of 1-years’experience working in the HR/Finance field. Knowledge of QuickBooks an asset.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Within the limits of authorized policies and procedures, is responsible to:
- Experience managing and maintaining documentation for personnel files.
- Assisting with monthly timesheet review and entry.
- Assist in managing and coordinating staff training to meet policy and standards.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with the maintenance of office resources and records.
- Provide support as needed to Program Supervisors and management as needed.
- Assist with the implementation of Policies and Procedures as directed by the Executive Director, and recommend measures to achieve the “best practice” objectives of Family Ties Association and abide by them.
- Assist with the front office duties if required from time to time.
- Work as part of the office team in supporting staff of the different programs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: From $19.57 per hour
