Gillespie-Munro Inc is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team.
Reporting to Management, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for upholding the presence of HR within the company. The main purpose of the position is to manage day-to-day operations of the HR department. They will ensure policies, procedures and programs are actively implemented.

This is an in-office Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm position, with a great team atmosphere.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and administer company policies and promote positive employee relations
- Continuously maintain the company’s internal HRIS
- Provide day-to-day support to all employees regarding HR-related matters
- Manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes that could increase productivity
- Provide recruiting assistance and candidate screening and assessment to the recruitment team and efforts when necessary
- Strive towards always improving company policies and procedures
- Handle termination-related matters and prepare termination and severance letters
- Be well-versed and stay up to date on changes in laws and regulations regarding hiring and termination of employees
- Manage the Health and Safety program
- Serve as the Benefits Administrator and manage all related requests from employees
- Work closely with the recruitment team to assist with various duties related to both Onboarding and Offboarding
- Preparation and analysis of HR-related reports and metrics
- Perform other duties as required
You Have:
- Completion of post-secondary education in HRM (or related field)
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience working with confidential information
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with MS Office and HRIS systems is an asset
- A self-starter mentality who is personable and enjoys connecting with people
- A creative and resourceful mentality for meeting and exceeding deadlines and/or targets
- A positive and professional attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Bilingual in French/English an asset
