Job Description
Reporting to the People and Culture Director, the P&C Technician contributes to HR processes and executes all operational tasks related to Human Resources.
This is a permanent full-time, hybrid, position. The position is governed according to the policies in effect at Alvéole.
Role and responsibilities
Execute day-to-day HR operational tasks in relation to; recruitment, benefits, onboarding and off-boarding (CND/US)
Recruitment: update job descriptions in partnership with internal clients, post jobs, research appropriate platforms to post on, organise/coordinate interviews with relevant parties, respect deadlines established within project planning system
Benefits: coordinate all communication in relation to benefits with relevant parties, onboard employees on all appropriate benefits platforms, coordinate tasks internally with P&C team members, respect deadlines established within project planning system
Onboarding: send contracts, coordinate all communication in relation to onboarding with relevant parties, onboard employee in all appropriate HR systems, open employee file, coordinate tasks internally with P&C team members, respect deadlines established within project planning system
Off-boarding: coordinate all communication in relation to off-boarding with relevant parties, off-board employee in all appropriate HR systems, close employee file, coordinate tasks internally with P&C team members, respect deadlines established within project planning system
All related HR tasks
Execute day-to-day HR administrative tasks
Manage P&C email box
Organise P&C internal drive
Organise and maintain all employee files
File hard and soft copy documentation
Manage ‘travelling mailbox’ system
All related administrative tasks
Participate in any other special projects piloted by the People & Culture Team
Required skills
Post-secondary certification in Human Resources, Administration or related field (or on-going training)
1-2 years of experience as an HR technician, Administrative Assistant or Office Administrator
Perfect bilingualism (will engage with Canadian and American employees)
Proven resourcefulness, time management, coordination and organisational skills
A strong sense of urgency, initiative and thirst for knowledge
High adaptability and flexibility
Strong interpersonal, collaborative and autonomous skills
Knowledge of Mac (Apple) ecosystems and Google tools, an asset
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
