Piston Well Services is a medium-sized company specialized in well control, snubbing, milling, fishing, complex P&A and workovers. We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team’s HSE/HR department. The position is office-based in Red Deer, Alberta, and includes on-call responsibilities.
The HSE/HR Advisor reports to the General Manager and collaborates with peers, field and admin personnel to control the company’s exposures to regulated health, safety & environmental risks; as well as manages the company’s human resources & performance.
Duties include:
- Daily monitoring of POB, crew coordinating, training plans and HSE KPI’s
- Management of the company’s HSE data, HR systems, driver compliance, WCB and digital registry accounts
- Attend organizational, industry and customer meetings throughout Alberta and northern BC
- Develop, implement, measure & monitor HSE & HR policies & processes
- Conduct on-site visits, internal audits, inspections, investigations and classroom training
Qualifications include:
- All standard oilfield site-access training certificates & orientations
- RCA and COR certifications
- At least 5 years of oilfield service experience (ie. snubbing, service or drilling rigs)
- Excellent communication, time management, professionalism and organizational skills
- Fluent with computers, data management

Salary: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
