What You'll Do- Create talent acquisition strategy for respective hiring leaders including needs analysis and provide guidance to hiring managers related to talent acquisition.
- Source qualified candidates through a variety of channels and manage the end to end talent acquisition process.
- Evaluate and present qualified candidates to hiring leaders and solicit feedback on candidates to refine the talent acquisition strategy as required.
- Organize campaigns on job boards, industry websites and other applicant channels.
- Maintain relationships with external recruiting partners and manage candidate pipeline effectively and efficiently.
- Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process through effective communication to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Forecast, plan and execute cooperative/student requirement and activities for each planned term for assigned locations including review of postings, engagement with colleges and universities, interview scheduling and offer management.
- Oversee joint health and safety committee activities for assigned locations ensuring compliance to legislation. WSIB claims management and where required coordination of return to work process.
- Manage the performance management process and talent reviews for assigned client group.
- Participate and/or lead employee engagement initiatives related to company culture and retention of talent activities.
- Identify and recommend continuous improvements to HR programs and processes to drive efficiencies and enhance the employee experience.

Required Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Full-cycle recruiting experience and progressive experience as an HR Generalist experience, preferably in a high growth organization.
- Must be able to create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.
- Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract candidates.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
- Demonstrated experience creating awareness of a company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates.
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Solid knowledge of trends, best practices, legislation change and new technologies in human resources and talent management.
- Certified Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP) is preferred.
- Strong computer skills including MS office and Applicant Tracking Systems.
