Our gravitypope Edmonton footwear location is inviting applicants to fill the key role of full time Sales Associate - Keyholder. The Client Service Professional is a senior member of the gravitypope team who demonstrates a high level of client service, personal sales and product expertise. They are responsible for assisting the management team with daily maintenance and appearance of interior and exterior areas of the store as well as aspects of daily administrative operations.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate excellent clientele building skills consisting of promptly greeting , building trust, carefully listening, competently communicating, properly fitting, expert product knowledge and sales ability
- Developing, maintaining, and growing a personal repeat client base
- Actively working to reach both individual and store sales goals
- Monitor sales performance against store goals to ensure progress is being made and action is taken as necessary
- Support online order pickup and processing to ensure smooth client experience
- Staying up to date on all product knowledge, company information, promotions, and campaigns
- Performing store operational duties such as cleaning, stocking shelves, shipping and receiving
- Mentor Client Service Associates through training and collaboration
- Oversee daily administrative tasks like cash counts and opening and closing duties
- Act as an ambassador, bringing positive recognition to the gravitypope brand
The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
- Have a proven track record of excellent clientele building skills that translate to sales
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field an asset
- Minimum 1 year experience in a retail environment
- Previous leadership or management experience an asset
- Initiative to independently stay productive and reach goals
- Ability to converse and build rapport with clients and co-workers
- Capable of working independently and with others in a collaborative process
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft 365 programs
- Experience with integrated retail and point of sales software platforms an asset
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- High attention to detail and surrounding environment
- Strong understanding of the retail industry
