Summary
TransCanada Turbines (TCT) is the sole authorized overhaul, repair and maintenance service provider for Siemens Energy and General Electric (GE) aeroderivative industrial gas turbines, serving an expanding international client base.

We are currently looking for a Materials Coordinator/Driver to join our team in the Airdrie Depot location.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Materials, the Materials Coordinator/Driver will be expected to assist in all duties within the Materials department including the receiving, shipping, storing, issuing and handling of turbine parts and materials. This position requires the individual to be highly organized, have the ability to shift priorities at a moment’s notice, work at a strong pace while producing and maintaining an extremely high level of quality.
Duties
The duties will include but will not be limited to the following:
- Receiving materials, ensuring the accurate maintenance of records, including goods inward inspection.
- Ensuring ISO processes are followed without exception.
- Checking accuracy of inventory, quality and quantity.
- Coordinating with area Leaders on scheduling for parts being processed through Component Repair.
- Organizing and staging components to be shipped to the Component Repair facility.
- Packaging and preparing parts for shipment to Component Repair facility.
- Moving and protecting parts, within and outside the facility as necessary.
- Booking inventory items into and out of TCT Component Repair Tool.
- Operating / Driving Company owned 5-ton truck to and from facilities.
- Assist in kitting whenever necessary.
- Operating lifting mechanisms as necessary, including forklift.
- Work within a tightly scheduled environment.
- Assisting inventory system specification, implementation, and application.
- Work closely with area Leaders to rectify any shipment discrepancies.
- Handling of repaired, sensitive, high value re-worked turbine components.
- Increase knowledge of the HSE Policy and Manual and maintain a positive attitude towards the health and safety of myself and my coworkers.
- Take ownership of HSE issues and demonstrate enthusiasm and support for HSE.
- Other duties as directed by the Team Leader, Materials.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year related warehouse experience
- Previous order picking experience is an asset
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)

- Successful completion of a post-offer medical and drug & alcohol test
