The Learning Lab is the innovation arm of EY Learning Services and our teams work collaboratively to create superior learning solutions for our clients. We are looking for smart, ambitious game changers that can help us achieve our vision. We want you to grow with us, be our next thought leader, jump right in and make a difference - and have a ton of fun doing it. We’re looking for a talented and collaborative Digital Media Designer who loves working with and learning from a multidisciplinary team while creating exceptional learning experiences.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Create digital graphics to enhance the online learning experience using graphic design applications (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite) to develop visually appealing and engaging solutions.
- Liaises with creative team and project stakeholders to meet design objectives, discuss effective creative direction, and ensure brand consistency and high standards of creative execution.
- Responsible for managing revisions to artwork and accuracy of information.
- Assist in designing new interactions and templates.
- Develop video animations and graphics with an understanding of timing and storytelling.
- Builds and maintains a repository of graphics, illustrations, videos, sound and other multimedia for content use.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years experience in digital media design.
- Impressive design portfolio with a proven track record in designing for the web.
- Excellent graphic design for use in web-based, interactive learning experiences.
- Ability to work in the Adobe CC suite, with strong experience with:
- Experience in wireframing, rapid prototyping, and visual communications.
- Ability to coordinate and handle multiple competing priorities.
- Strong critical thinking, judgment, organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, working in a highly collaborative style with stakeholders.
- Understanding and knowledge of UI / UX design.
- Designing for diversity and inclusion, and accessibilities.
- Possesses an excellent visual sense of composition.
- eLearning authoring tools, with proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise.
- Experience using Adobe After Effects to combine on-screen text, images, and vector graphics timed with narrator audio and music
- Web Development (HTML5, CSS / SCSS, JavaScript).
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Creating and editing materials in French.
- Experience working in a virtual environment.
- Flexibility in and comfortability with learning and applying new software and work processes.
- Ability to understand designer and programmer workflows.
- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, suggestions, feedback, and manage timelines.
- Core design skills include the ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and colour theory.
- Ability to come up with gamification ideas for learners.
- Ability to create wireframes and mood boards.
- Ability to follow current market trends and design industry standards
