Job Description
Do you have a love for genetics and an interest in the genetic counselling profession? The Genetics & Genomics (G&G) South laboratories at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary have an exciting opportunity for a Genetic Counselling Assistant position. G&G provides clinical genetic testing for a broad range of inherited conditions, serving an important role in the provision of genetic services for the province of Alberta. You will be the primary contact for the GRC, managing the email inbox and phone line for the program, addressing questions about requests, and following up with health care providers. You may additionally support the genetic counsellors/laboratory staff as a liaison between the G&G laboratories and other health care providers.
