Imagine Health Centre - Macleod Trail South is a busy multi-disciplinary Family Medicine/Walk In Clinic in the South East of Calgary. We are currently looking for motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioners to join our clinic for late afternoon/evening/weekend shifts in order to help fill the large gap in Primary Care and Access to Medical Care resulting from the lack of Primary Care Physicians in Alberta!
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care for a multitude of common chronic and acute presenting conditions including ordering investigations, providing prescriptions/treatments, referring to specialists appropriately, and providing appropriate patient follow-up
- Comprehensive documentation of patient visits and treatment plans with patient billing in our Electronic Medical Record (TELUS Med Access)
- Review all patients seen after each shift with supervising physician, seek assistance from supervising physician regarding supervising physician as appropriate

Key Qualifications:
- Experience providing primary care to patients in independent practice (at least 1-2 years preferred)
- Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner Program/Current Registration as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
Key Characteristics:
- Strong clinical skills including diagnosing and treating common Primary Care presenting conditions, and recognizing and promptly treating/referring serious and life threatening conditions
- Desire to continue to improve knowledge base and clinical skills on an ongoing basis
- Demonstrates kindness and compassion when treating patients and excellent bedside manner
- Excellent teamwork skills including openness to feedback and direction, works cohesively with clinic reception/MOA and referrals staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills in completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
Salary: $50.00-$120.00 per hour
