Academy Towing in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is a growing towing company. We are currently seeking a full time Operations Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership qualities, time management skills and able to work in unforeseen circumstances.
Management experience is a must and knowledge of towing and automotive would be a definite asset.
Demonstrate the ability to perform the following duties:
-Oversee the full operations of our towing business.
-Ensure Health and Safety of the workforce
-Experience in scheduling drivers
-Complete maintenance reports and Inspect drivers logs
-Recruitment of new employees
-Incentive programs
-Evaluate and inspect trucks for cleanliness and work equipment
-Handle onsite emergencies in a professional manner
-Monitors impound yard
-Responsible to step into other roles as required
-Other duties as provided by Owner
Must have a high level of attention to detail, a high level of energy and not let frustrations get the best of them.
