We are looking for an outstanding Revenue Operations Manager to join Float. You will take ownership of our internal sales, marketing and customer operations systems and reporting, and partner with business leaders to help steer our long term revenue strategy. Key traits and skills we're looking for include being action-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and process oriented. If you are a systems thinker, operationally minded, a strong communicator, and can ruthlessly prioritize, this role is for you.
Your role will be broken down into three main areas:
1. Business Performance Management & Reporting
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Finance to manage performance across teams, initiatives, customer segments, and stages in the customer journey
- Support ongoing cadence of business rhythm, including forecast and business reviews
- Surface critical insights into business performance that will guide overall Go-To-Market strategy and planning
- Drive cross functional alignment required to achieve our revenue targets
- Support target setting and subsequent compensation plan modeling
- Contribute to Revenue strategy & leverage data to identify gaps and opportunities
2. Evolve Processes For Growth
- Take ownership of revenue processes and systems that support the full Float Customer journey, and our Revenue teams
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Operations to deliver on strategic projects that will drive revenue growth at Float
- Collect feedback from the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Operations teams to identify opportunities for more efficient internal processes and workflows
- Enable users of our revenue systems through training, asynchronous videos, release notes, and more
3. Tech Stack & Systems Enablement
- Manage our CRM (Hubspot) and ensure our customer data is clean and high-quality.
- Manage integrations and workflows using systems like Hubspot, Zapier, Metabase, Gong, Slack, etc
- Build process and documentation to successfully onboard new team members on our tech stack, and ensure they follow our standard rules of engagement
- Recommend, evaluate, and deploy new technologies to support go-to-market goals
What your week-to-week looks like:
- Reviewing, and organizing data, handling queries from multiple stakeholders and designing automated systems, processes and workflows that enable the business
- Collaborating with leaders and team members across the business to identify & execute on projects
- Analyzing customer data to help drive strategic decisions across the business
- Supporting our internal teams to make the best use of existing processes and systems, while adopting new approaches as needed
- Driving forward strategic planning and target setting and subsequent reporting on performance
Requirements
You'll be great in this role if:
- You've got the experience. To be successful in this role, we're looking for 5+ year(s) of experience in a Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, or RevOps role. You have experience working in high growth early stage SaaS companies and have experienced going from 0-100. You understand the sales funnel and can translate it into system and process requirements, deploying changes in a CRM (or other supporting technology). You have advanced tech stack management and experience with Hubspot or other CRMs
- You're familiar with what's involved in #start-up life. You're scrappy, and enjoy finding creative ways to work through obstacles on your own. You're comfortable dealing with multiple demands and effective in setting and communicating your priorities. You're motivated to get things done, and have a natural curiosity
- You live for systems and data. You are highly analytical, love data structuring, and how systems work together. Bonus if you have experience with SQL
- You're a big picture thinker who loves the tiny details. You think about the customer first, but are maniacal about data hygiene, and structuring systems for the best customer journey. You enjoy strategy sessions just as much as being in the weeds of admin. You understand the importance of having a single source of truth not only for our data, but for documentation, and you've got experience centralizing information
- You're a leader people enjoy working with. An outstanding cross-functional communicator, you've got the ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority. You have experience onboarding and training employees on company tooling and tech stack, as well as the way the unspoken things work. Strong problem solver? Perfect. Critical judgment that goes beyond surface level info? Even better. You know what questions to ask, what info to look for, and can surface strong insights. You're a great listener, and your coworkers have great things to say about you and your work
If you don't meet every requirement, but have relevant experience, a maddening desire to learn, and a lot of heart, please apply. We'd love to hear from you.
This role won't be a fit if:
- You don't enjoy ambiguity or building new things
- You want detailed to-dos for your tasks and projects
If this role doesn't sound just right, please keep checking back for more roles being posted.
Benefits
- Small team = lots of autonomy to make an impact
- A flexible hybrid work environment
- A dog-friendly office
- A personal Float card with a monthly stipend to spend on what matters most to you
- Being able to learn from the best in Canada, and say you helped build Canada's best corporate card and spend management platform
