Pantos Logistics Canada Inc. provides top global logistics solutions to over +1,000 clients in services areas of Ocean, Air, E-Commerce, Trucking, Customs Brokerage, Warehousing and Cargo Projects. The company’s expertise includes custom brokerage, storage, and in-bound/out-bound TRANSPORTATION via various modes of transport, including Sea Freight, Air Freight, Truck Freight, and Express.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for daily operations management, transportation expense optimization, logistics customer service, and appointment management.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Carrier Performance Management:
- Performance management – on-time execution, traffic claims, capacity coverage, recovery options
- Ensure carriers are adhering to customer requirements
- Customer delivery escalations
Transportation Expense Optimization:
- Manage mode/carrier tender criteria for load planners to optimize based on schedule, service and cost targets
- Spot rate management
Logistics Customer Service:
- Coordinate with load planners and appointment team to track delivery status
- Analyze patterns of Logistics performance failures by region or customer and develop solutions to improve
- Collaborate with SCM to manage key priorities through to final delivery execution
- Manage home delivery/swap orders
Appointment Management:
- Manage execution for appointments, ensuring SLAs are maintained
- Develop relationships with key customers for improved support on appointment requests
Load planning Management:
- Ensuring loads are built in timely manner in TMS
- Optimizing load consolidation and managing load planning team
Return booking Management:
- Managing return booking team, to ensure RA (return authorizations) are being created in timely manner
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- University Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Finance/Accounting key principles
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel proficient)
- Supply Chain and/or Logistics certifications also an asset

Work Location
- Hybrid remote, 5 days in office starting November 1, 2023
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
