Job Description
Propak Systems Ltd. is an established leader in engineering, fabrication, and construction of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry.We are currently seeking a Project Procurement Coordinator to oversee major buyouts and materials on specific job(s) and maintain logs to ensure all material is quoted, purchased, and received in a timely manner to meet the overall project schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Quotes, issues purchase orders, and expedites approval documentation and materials
- Prepares material issue reports for weekly project meetings
- Maintains RFQ and Expediting Project Logs
- Facilitates communication between all groups involved in projects
- Issues inspection purchase orders and processes inspection invoices
- Contacts and meets with vendors/suppliers on purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Supports site construction phase
- Handles other purchasing and expediting tasks as required
Qualifications:- High School Diploma
- 2 to 3 years directly related experience in a purchasing department
- Experience in an oil & gas fabrication environment would be considered an asset
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
- Experience in Visual Manufacturing or similar ERP system software is an asset
