About the Role
The Program Coordinator is a member of the site leadership team, and will oversee the administration and the day-to-day (non-clinical) operations of the site(s). The incumbent supports the Program Manager to establish, maintain and demonstrate the program’s efficiency and effectiveness. The Program Coordinator is responsible for staff scheduling, payroll processing and administration to support and monitor staff compliance with position requirements. The Program Coordinator ensures program conformance with agency policy, accreditation and licensing/registration standards, WorkSafe BC and Occupational Health and Safety standards and ensures program responsiveness to external stakeholders.
Position: Full Time 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $64,854.40 - $75,462.40 per year
Indirect Compensation
- Extended Health and Dental benefits after the 3 month probationary period
- 9.31% Pension matching after the 3 month probationary period
- Min. 3 weeks vacation pay which increases with length of service
- Additional five (5) days of paid leave per year as compensation for Recovery & Addictions rotational on-call responsibilities
- 1 paid wellness day per year
- Paid sick time which increases with length of service.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Skills
- Well-developed communication skills (written/oral) including telephone and interpersonal skills. Can communicate effectively with individuals, families and communities with diverse and complex cultural, emotional and social needs.
- Ability to work effectively with others including staff, program participants, families and other stakeholder
- High level of competency in key components of Microsoft Office applications combined with the ability to learn and adapt to new information technology systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to organize workload, multi-task and set priorities.
Other requirements
- Ability to provide proof of COVID 19 Vaccination or letter of exemption
- Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Clean, valid BC driver's license and use of reliable vehicle
