We are hiring a Senior Programmer/Analyst (Full Stack)
Reporting To: Manager, Application Development
Full-Time/Part- Time: Full-time
Posting Date: July 13, 2023

Hours of Work: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Grade: 7

The Opportunity:
Senior Programmer/Analyst (Full Stack) is responsible for designing and developing solutions in collaboration with various stakeholders, business analysts, architects, and developers.
- Analyze business requirements for the company and design the best possible solution based on technology, infrastructure and timelines provided.
- Work closely with the Assistant Manager, Application Development, Technical Leads, Business Analysts and End Users to ensure code quality, accuracy and correct business solutions have been developed.
- Participates, and at times leads, in the multiple stages of project development adhering to the application lifecycle methodologies utilized at First National Financial.
- Design and develop system components, including programming, documentation and testing of solutions.
- Provide production implementation and post-implementation support along with the necessary documentation.
- Complete project deliverables within timelines and budget constraints as per business requirements.
The Requirements Needed:
- Hands-on experience with development on Financial Systems
- Experience with Financial Transaction Processing Systems
- Payment Processing
- Mortgage Transactions
- University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Experience working within an Agile Software Development Process
- 5+ Years of development experience in Software Development utilizing the .NET Framework
- Web Services and related technologies (ASP.NET Web API, WCF…)
- SQL Server 2016 or greater experience in development and design (T-SQL, stored procedures/functions, performance tuning, schemas)
- Familiarity with XML and related technologies (XSD, XSLT, XQuery, XPath…)
- Knowledge of Database ETL Tools and Reporting technologies such as SSIS, SSRS
- Experience in Microsoft .NET Core, C#, SQL, Angular, ODATA, JSON, HTML, XML
- Student and Practitioner of Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices such as SOA, Microservices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt and learn a new technology quickly
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal guidance
