Here's how a Project Accountant for our Montreal office contributes to our team:
- You will contribute to the full cycle of accounting for projects; including preparation of monthly billings, accounts receivable collection, invoice entry, journal entries, ledger reconciliations, cash flow management and supporting project teams with the analysis of project financials.
- You will assist the Accounting Manager with the preparation, review and analysis of district financial reporting as well as financial accounting year-end.
- You will administer projects contracts and subcontract documentation including insurance, CNESST, CCQ and statutory declarations.
- 2+ years of work experience in accounting with a university education in accounting or in a related discipline.
- CPA, currently enrolled into the program or having the objective to enroll.
- Solutions based approach, ability to utilize professional judgment, and team player with effective interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel.
- Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
