What you will be doing
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across business unit. Your role is to manage resources, schedules and adhere to the processes and guidelines throughout the full development life cycle. Also, one key aspect in your role will be to manage issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of assigned customers and internal projects. Successful candidates will have good business acumen, customer service experience, and project/service delivery experience.
In your day-to-day you will be responsible for
- Responsible for on-boarding and supporting the operational aspects of an assigned group of customer deployment projects.
- Develops, executes, monitors, and adjusts project plans, resources, and implementation strategy to meet the needs of project stakeholders, and to ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget, and meets customer/stakeholders' expectations.
- Manage high-profile projects applying technical and project management expertise while leading cross-functional resources to meet project expectations within established budgets and timeframes.
- Communicate with project projects stakeholders to determine project goals and objectives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage their expectations for service delivery.
- Report regularly on project status while identifying, raising and resolving issues quickly and completely.
- Strong project management skills delivering projects.
- Develop, lead, and manage project teams.
- Perform risk management planning, risk identification, and mitigation.
What you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, CIS/MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of IT project management experience or general business experience.
- Highly proficient with MS Office.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Display strong problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers & teams based on credibility and understanding client’s needs.
- Ability to assess risks & analyze data to ensure bests business practices.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada or U.S.A
Given the daily interactions required with colleagues and/or clients who are mainly located outside Quebec, this role requires fluency in English.
