Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager for a 12-month contract position with possible extensions in Edmonton, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Must accommodate a hybrid schedule, mostly remote with occasional travel. Travel is not reimbursed.
Role Description
The Project Manager is accountable for the successful completion of a large Cloud ERP Implementation initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the initial phase of this initiative. They will report to the Manager of the Project Management Office and work directly with stakeholders as per project governance.
Role Responsibilities
- Recommend a project governance framework.
- Manage Requirements gathering.
- Manage the RFP process thru contract negotiation and award.
- Manage Program of projects.
- Manage other project managers assigned to this initiative.
- Assess the operational readiness of each individual business area.
- Create and manage initiative roadmaps.
- Develop milestone gates.
- Manage current state process mapping and documentation.
- Manage future state mapping, including impact on other systems.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure project success.
- Create communication plans.
- Develop Organizational Change Management Plans.
- Business Case development.
- Provide regular Initiative status updates.
- Manage budgets and financial health of the initiative.
- Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and regulations.
- Manage typical PM Process groups as applicable.
Required Skills and Experience- 3+ years of full project lifecycle (blueprint to go-live) implementations as a Project Manager.
- 3+ years of client management experience and strong communicator required.
- 3+ years of Cloud ERP implementation experience.
- Experience in business operations in post-secondary institutions.
- A detail of other similar transformational initiative services provided to other clients.
- Demonstrated ability to bring functional teams together for integrated efforts.
- Excellent team building skills.
