Primary Purpose of Position:
Priestly Demolition Inc. (PDI) is looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about Project Management with a minimum of 8 years of project management experience, as well as a minimum of 5 years of PM experience for construction or demolition projects.
The Senior Project Manager (“Sr. PM”) is an integral member of the project team and is responsible for directing the planning, coordination, and safe execution of jobs in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget, delivering projects to the forecasted margin. The Sr. PM have the support of a Project Manager and/or Project Coordinators and will ensure projects are completed within a specific timeframe and on budget, through proper planning and implementation.
This position while require the Sr. PM to be at the project site fulltime. The site could be based outside of the GTA.

Job Duties
- Provide essential leadership, management and coaching of Remediation and Demolition personnel
- Be accountable and manage the successful execution of a portfolio of projects in accordance with the scope, schedule and budget from start to finish
- Direct the activities of all operational staff and monitor the performance of subcontractors
- Attend various start-up, progression and close-out in-house and client meetings as required
- Work with the General Superintendent and Health & Safety department to develop and maintain safety and quality control plans and programs
- Ensure all projects are completed with worker Health and Safety as the utmost priority; complete site safety inspections as required
- Ensure compliance with Regional (provincial and territorial) and other regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance with overall in-house and client Health and Safety Policy and Programs
- Support team with the preparation of contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- In cooperation with the Director of Projects, plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
- In cooperation with the Director of Projects and General Superintendent plan and prepare project manpower requirements in Viewpoint and monitor progress against established plan
- In cooperation with the General Superintendent plan and prepare project equipment requirements in Viewpoint and monitor progress against established plan
- Complete a cost/revenue projection for all projects and update/review with Vice President, Business Operations at least monthly
- Complete monthly progress billing for all projects and update/review with Vice President, Business Operations
- Review all progress invoices and ensure they are issued on a timely basis and follow up on any outstanding accounts
- Oversee subcontracts and the purchase of material(s)
- Ensure that all cost tracking is being completed correctly by the Project Coordinators in Viewpoint & B2W
- Prepare weekly operating report and present to Director of Projects weekly
- Meet with site foremen at least 2 times per week and use execution control tools to monitor productivity and create action plans to address variances

College, University or equivalent work experience in a related discipline (i.e. Construction/Project Management)
Minimum of 8 years' project management experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager for Demolition/Construction projects
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues to bring the project to successful completion
Provide targeted mentorship and coaching to project managers
Ability to analyze and evaluate complex problems and to plan and lead multidisciplinary teams to execute demolition solutions
Knowledge of environmental legislation, standards, and guidelines related to demolition
Knowledge of the engineering design, tender, and construction management processes and related contractual conditions for a variety of demolition technologies
Ability achieve results through others
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Previous experience with ViewPoint and/or B2W, considered an asset
Demonstrated willingness to be adaptable and flexible to changing and competing priorities
Familiarity with demolition methods and legislation
Work Conditions
• Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
• Hazards associated with the trade.
• Work both indoors and outdoors.
• Manual dexterity required.
• Interacts with employees, management and the public at large.
• Sitting, standing, bending and walking.
