Our Office Services Team in Stellarton, Nova Scotia is searching for a part-time Receptionist. Our office Receptionist is the first point of contact staff and visitors, they set the tone for an engaging experience with our Sobeys office team. In this customer service focused role the successful applicant will respond to general inquiries through the switchboard, email, and in person at the reception desk. If you have excellent interpersonal skills, great communication, and a passion for customer service this role is for you.
This part-time role will be based out of the Sobeys King Street Office 3 days a week working 8:30am - 5:00pm.
- Greet staff and visitors with a welcoming attitude and an eagerness to assist.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage all visitors’ arrival, transition to their host(s) and departure.
- Assign visitor passes, and manage the visitor calendar/log.
- Issue temporary accesses badges, maintain the log and manage inventory control.
- Action the Access card appointments and issue access card badge requests, onboarding, exiting, remote access.
- Manage all documentation pertinent to reception
- Support the Mailroom, shipping and receiving
- Manage 3rd party’s access to the property
- Support safety/emergency procedure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, email.
- Highly organized, efficient, ability to prioritize and a self starter in a multi-tasking environment.
- Excellent communication skills. (Spoken and written).
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a fast-paced, multi-task office environment
- Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Customer service orientated
