Your Role and Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
The Recruitment Specialist will provide support to Corporate by compiling, maintaining and processing information relating to all Recruitment, Payroll, Benefits and other Human Resources functions.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all recruitment related activities, recruitment and selection activities by creating, posting and removing internal and grade tests when required; maintain posting activity matrix; assist with the interview process including scheduling, creating interview guides and interviewing candidates when required
- Process employee application forms, assist in orientation and compile statistics/reports
- Create and post internal and external Job Postings
- Responsible for updating and record keeping of all Job Descriptions
- Create reports as needed
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and advise Human Resources on important issues
- Assist with projects and updating systems- data entry
- Continuous professional development
- Other relevant duties
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
- Human Resources certificate and/or CHRP designation or in progress
- Two years of recruitment experience
- Knowledge of current employment legislation and labour relations
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word
- Proven organizational skills
